Anyway just because you don't take yourself or your passion/hobby seriously, doesn't mean those around you don't have to either. There can be levels of passion for subjects or matters and just because you may find it more humorous than others, doesn't mean they see it the same. Be shamelessly serious, or shamelessly passionate. Others around you may not give the same quantity of effort or commitment - and while that's perfectly fine, all the power to you - that shouldn't invade other's interest or limit them. The Hot Take of being careless and treating everything like a joke doesn't apply to everyone, and doesn't make you any cooler. While I'm all for people liking something with different severities, it doesn't mean you get to shame people that see it differently than you.
