#my pcp just called me at 8 at night going 'thoracic endometriosis!!!' #'what?' #'it causes blood in or around the lungs or bronchials during your period!!!' #'its what?' #'this could be it!!! i mean it could be!''' #shes so happy that she possibly figured it out and like yes! you go doc your the best! ❤️ #but what the actual fuck #why is that how is this a thing??? i always got told endometriosis only affected your lower organs near your uterus?!!! #and i dont have heavy periods ive never had them if anything i have irregular and very light periods i even SKIP periods #i skipped three months in a row once and freaked out and ran to my obgyn like i was dying #like we though i had pcos before because i have a whole crap ton of hormone issues invluding a history of high testosterone but #what the fuck! how does this exist like how does this actually work #HOW DID ENDOMETRIAL TISSUES OR CELLS GET ALL THE WAY THEIR??!!! HOW!?!?! #but this theory just got bumped up to the top of the white board marker list of the 'coughing up blood saga' #so yeah apparently this might possibly be it idk but it makes sense since im only coughing up blood on my periods #and i dont think my body doing the whole no clotting thing is helping either so...
