It'd be fine if fgo acknowledged the other nasuverse properties more concretely outside of the collab events, but besides off handed mentions and the vagueness surrounding the prototype verse that's more like fgo dragging along prototype fans to keep them interested, they haven't done so.

Esp since any rules about the completion of series have been thrown out the window with events like waltz and requiem being used as advertisements

I'm kinda mad that Aniplex is almost acting like they're trying to bury Mahoyo.

NO advertising for international audiences despite it finally getting an English translation (it even showed up in the JP Nintendo Direct but nothing for English), no preorders I can find so far for local stores, it feels like the only people who are going to buy Mahoyo in English are those who were already waiting for a translation for years and are willing to import from Japan.

Then once it sells like shit, they can say "See? Nobody cares about the rest of Type-Moon let's get that 30th Fate title launched."

I backread Aniplex's Twitter until their last mention of Mahoyo and this is literally the only time their Twitter has even mentioned Mahoyo since this retweet

WHERE IS THE ADVERTISING ANIPLEX?

2 months until release and the only mention of Mahoyo is apologizing that they put up the preorder link too early and are shutting it off. No appearance in the English Nintendo Direct when it appeared in the Japanese one, no English announcements of the preorder bonuses, posters, illustrations, etc like the Japanese announcements get, it's like they're trying to kill its English release so they can say they tried and there was no audience. Every time someone on here Mahoyo-posts I still see people get surprised than an English version is even happening which only furthers my belief that the audience for this game don't even know about it yet.

We gotta do everything around here.

They don’t need to port Mahoyo to pc, type moons are already willing to advertise for them, there’s no doubt they’ll port it for free too.

You technically already can with Switch emulators, but I cannot stress enough how much the ordinary person can find emulators and fan translations / fanworks to be a barrier of entry.

A proper, official PC port cannot be replaced by the fans, and the only reason the fans felt the need to push Mahoyo is because it became clear Aniplex weren't going to do it themselves without a push
