I've seen many bad takes on this site but i think the worst one that came thru the dash the one that is singularly disconnected from reality was saying that sex work is no different from being like a fucking barista or w/v because "all labor under capitalism is selling your body". fantastic implication that all labor is equal no nuance here at all the world is made of pudding

#mel chirps #im not against sex work in that women should be able to do whatever they want #im against sex work in that the immense majority of women are coerced into it out of poverty #and coerced sex is rape. if you havent made that connection yet #and maybe rape is different from waitressing? or sewing? or cooking? for cash. you can analyse that
