I'm so sorry king I had to ramble abt daves relationship I have to be honest I have to bee upfront, my brain doesn't work and I NEVER get to interacting with you but I'm genuinely such a simp for chiron. Hes so polite. Hes sooo polite. There's smth abt polite characters.... he just vibes in such a way.........

Dave loves Chiron. was he being serious abt the reason he likes him, perhaps a little, is that the actual reason, no. Yes hes a bit biased that he didn't get kicked off this mortal plane as a kid from some alt of him, but it's because he SEEMS like an adult.

The people he interacts with ARE adults, but Chiron comes across in such a way that Dave feels like he wouldn't have to try to be funny because that's not what Chiron would demand. He'd still try to, but he feels. More like a peer, than an audience member, and its a little exhilarating to see it.
