Tails and Shadow empathizing anon again- and yeah, I get what you mean. I guess in my head, I was more going "Sonic is pulling away from him, Tails is losing his brother even with him there" but I can definitely see how that wouldn't be Shadow's perspective on things.

Basically, I just hurt for all of them. They deserve happiness 😭

and they will get it! it takes a hard look from shadow and a thunk in the head by jack, but eventually sonic agrees to let tails run some "tests" to find out what might be causing sonic's unease
