So I have discovered recently that I am in fact a cat ? if u have shown me any sort of kindness or heaven forbid affection then if I see you sittin down, I must sit near you. can sit in silence, awkward or amiable, I just want to be in the same place you are. I might look like I'm being weird and ignoring u even though you're right there, but I'm simply indulging my cat instinct to bask in your presence, in our Mutual Sitting Downness, and I would in fact be thrilled if you spoke to me but you don't have to if you don't want to

#I don't need conversation in order to feel I've had quality time with someone just sitting near them is goals for me #but if they very much would like to talk to me then I would very much like to listen #and stagger my way blindly through the bewildering art of conversation #not like in a creepy way but like #we're in the same hall waiting for the same thing you're sitting already and I will sit so I sit beside you #or you're at the coffee place and I come in and I sit at the table next to yours bc sitting AT yours feels presumptuous #I just really like the Sitting Down Togetherness of it #I like being there #likewise I will walk with u to a place you're going even if idk what chitchat to make on the way #once again it's about the Being There #my fave <3 #cat behavior
