#if they do a 20th anniversary for that in 2026 i’ll go to that too #they released a 20th anniversary album for one for the kids but since that was 2021 they didn’t tour #but also that’s not really a BIG well known album #and even though one for the kids was their first album … ocean avenue blew them the fuck up #so it makes sense to do the tour for that instead #however lights and sounds is categorically on the same level as ocean avenue in terms of early 2000s impact #and the growth from ‘03 ocean avenue to ‘06 lights and sounds was substantial #ocean avenue is technically my 4th favorite album 😂 #lights and sounds is where its at #there was more violin work on lights and sounds than on ocean avenue for fucking suuuuuure #hollywood died is one of those songs i’ll never get tired of #how the violin at the end PERFECTLY melds into the instrumental of three flights up #same for rough landing holly #my mom was actually in awe that night cuz the crowd perfectly harmonized on how i go #the female vocals on how i go are performed by natalie maines of the dixie chicks and she was there that night which was AMAZING #and my mom had never heard any of that album before but she remembers the crowd on how i go #it’s one of the prettiest songs in their discography imo #and also one of the saddest #anyway they better do a 20th for lights and sounds i s2g
