I’ve put away three of Guy Gavriel Kay’s novels in slightly over a week and am cracking open my fourth.

#i did the same with ursula le guin when i first started reading her #if i find an author i like with a decent backlog #i just keep on plowing through till i'm ready for a change #anyway i've read a brightness long ago #and the sarantine mosaic duology #i really enjoyed them #i love the way he shows ordinary people on the fringes of these grand historical turning points #and the way he changes povs and tenses in a way that quite frankly shouldn't work #but does #there's a great blend of intellectualism and action in the works i've read so far #i like to think about what i'm reading #but i also want a cracking good story #books #jenn reads #guy gavriel kay
