this exchange is so fucking funny to me like Clara's like "but like. what if i lie to you what then" and Aglaya's like "you can't lie actually" and Clara's like "Fuck you I can lie whenever I want I do it all the time"

see ok I have to go into more detail on the thematic failures of this but p2 just doesn't give you anything if someone dies. like. if you let murky die, you get a dream where she consoles you about it and you get to act sad for 5 minutes before the game resumes. if you let rubin die your reaction to aglaya is kind of "oh. well that makes sense" when AGLAYA dies its textually explicitly not your fault and unavoidable (same with nara I mean you do personally kill her but it's for "plot reasons"). and then you DON'T get anything special if anyone dies from plague except for peter! in which case you get a little teaser from andrey of something that might be important in the next route (plus yelled at lol) and it doesn't affect the endings at all. i never killed oyun but honest 2 god i think that might have the most consequences in the route. people just vanish when they die in p2 they might as well never have existed! and in the case of isidor ghazar You are constantly being replaced with a minor stat subtraction but you dont get any effects from killing your replacement either. What is the point.
