i dont remember whatthe origin is but like the story of a house owned by someoje wealthy (ofc lol) that's continually built and added on to increasingly bizarre hallways and deadends is so scary to me or maybe bc its 2am

#im thinkinf of multiple things hold on #i think maybe i first heard it in a buzzfeed unsolved? ? #and then i know over thr garden wall has that in an ep (it wasnt scary though lol) #and also i remembered abt that recent netflix stop motion horror (?) three diff stories in the same house #i wisu i didnt remember that though bc it reminds me of the kind of horror (?) surrealism(?) i dont enjoy bc it freaks me out #but not ina good way. anyways what prompted this was me tryinf to write dmc summaries so #i was trying to recall tjr mallet island castle lore and theres one where they #talk about how strange the building choices were iirc which led to this train of thought #the horror elements in dmc1 is like my favorite kind :-] #thats enough for me. if i watch any horror movies i will scream and cry. which is why i dont👍shoutout to ppl who are scared of horror #amd have to keep refusing to watch them everytime their sister tries to get them to
