#is it ok to make posts about things in the series that i haven't posted yet shsjsbsnsnsns #Lu rambles #it's just. she's a shade sadder than in canon but she's also determined in a slightly different way #and there's this gravitas to her in ltau that i love thinking about/writing SO MUCH #bc she's the same soft girl as before and as she is in canon even post-abduction arc #but she's also got more going on than just what happened to her #she's lost her former partner and best friend and then has to have this crisis of faith due to the fact that UHHHH #he's slightly haunting her #which in itself adds a lot to what she's dealing with bc she doesn't believe in that stuff!!! but now this!! #and also just the fact that he died trying to save her. that probably is rough on her for a while. #and she's taking over and carrying on his work both bc what happened to her (and is still happening bc: ghost bestie) is unexplained #and thus falls under the x files #but she's also carrying that on in mulder's honor — bc as seen in canon #she steps more into his role when he isn't there. she carries that fire; as it were; when he's gone #and there's just... a lot. she's still herself. she'll never be anybody but who she's always been ya know??? #but there's more she's carrying and stepping into now and there's a Vibe about her in the AU that i think about a LOT #Lu writes #little talks au #dana scully #lu don't lose this #bc... i just wrote a bunch of my own notes here and i want to save them shdhsjjsjsjsjs
