listen I love teaching but having the other person respond with a lost confused stare to most of what I say in 90% of my conversations throughout a week is wearing on my soul

#by the end of the week im losing my mind #for the love of a single conversation where I'm not guiding the other person through things that seem obvious to me #not that thats their fault but I taught for five hours straight today and my brain is mush #technically i also taught more than normal this week cause ive been tutoring my students in my free time on days where i normally dont teac #and theyre the students that are super lost so im going back to explain pretty basic concepts #and i just. theres only so many times you can watch someone forget what molar mass is while working the same type of problem #I LOVE her dont get me wrong #and shes not stupid by any means some people just cannot fathom chemistry #but im TIRED
