dyslexia is c a e u v o and s all looking the same, j t i l and f all look the same, w m n x y k h and z all look the same, p q d g all are identical and i only know theyre maybe different because theyre on different parts of my keyboard

it’s relying on spellcheck 85% of the time bc this shit all blends together and if numbers are added to the mix its just hell in written form, but you try and often fail to explain why you cant necessarily see shit and things dont look the same to you as they do to others, people just male fun of you because youre not ‘as smart as them’

its always being the butt of the joke bc oh hahaha you misspelled a word so funny!!!! which it can be with the right crowd and if the misspell is funny, but pointing it out every single time with common mistakes is in fact a shit move

its being told youre stupid in school because your grades are bad and anytime you ask for help youre told to just ‘get over your fake disease’.

#two am and already been made fun of for being disabled lololololol on a rOLL TODAY #idk if most ppl notice but spellcheck doesnt work in tags most of the time so my tabs are often a lot worse #if i type too fast its a nightmare cause like when i used to #do cobing i memorized the position of everything on a keyboard #whenni change computers i have to do it all over again obvs but like #see the thing some people dont realize is theres multiple forms of dyslexia too #its not just visual theres audible and even physical dyslexia its just rare #idk how it works personally but i knew sb who had audible dys and their entire life was a nightmare #but basically if you try to go too quickly your fingers will aim the wrong way #making the errors and oftentimes our brain doesnt even process that it happened #so if spellcheck doesnt work and the letters look the same its like we dont notice #our brains have an entirely altered processing system #and when you tab on other disabilities the processing tour beain does can change entirely #basically the brain sucks my eyes suck and can ppl not be ableist for one day
