Every time I watch a Nolan film I'm just mentally preparing myself for when I inevitably go "what the hell..." at the end 😭

#i honestly rly like his movies! theyre like a puzzle :) #interstellar ive watched so often so i mostly get it #and then oppenheimer was so great to watch twice #when you watch one of his movies the first time youre kinda just like taking the punches yknow? #youre onnthe ride ig. like okay all this is happening very cool very nice cool movie #and then you rewatch it and its like OHHHHHHHH #you get to see all the foreshadowing and actually understand the timeline 😭 #Oppenheimer is especially great bcs when you watch it again you actually understand rhe different eras #anwyays. watching the prestige. lets hope it goes well :) #after this ill hsve seen all his movies but two! #I just think often abt my letterboxd revirw after watching Memento #'christopher nolan making films: im going to make a film thats *so* non linear' #i like them a lot and i think its a very fun and unique aspect #but its hard to parse on the first watch 😭 #and i alwaus try to guess and figure stuff out but im like ah nah im just along for the ride atp #catie.rambling.txt
