@halogenwarrior okay SO you asked for Milah's story and why she's a victim of misogyny and it's easier to make a separate post

SO Milah's relationship with her first husband was mostly just her universally being dumbed down to the wife (also this story is set in 1800s fairytale land so-)

Her husband generally was not a good husband, and also wound up getting her relentlessly made fun of and then agreed to sell their future secondborn child to some random fucking guy WITHOUT CONSULTING HER AT ALL and yeah she ran away with a hot pirate guy (thank god) and he treated her like a QUEEN which is what she deserved
