#hey I know you're always way busier than me at Christmas so should we get a date in the diary early? 😊 #tfw you're such an afterthought #it's no secret that I struggle with making friends because I'm so awkward and shy #and I know the person I consider my best friend is way busier than me #in July I was like #and they said sure I'll let you know some dates #but then never brought the subject up again #until I got enough courage to do it in September #then got the same reply #and then received a message last week saying all of their days were already filled with meeting other people so could we meet up #at some point Jan/Feb for a belated Christmas instead? #it just makes me feel so worthless #that I'm so far down the pecking order I'm not even worth a thought #and they say I'm their best friend but just feels like a hollow platitude #anyway I'm probably feeling more affected than I would be otherwise because I've stupidly missed my depression meds for a few days #I'll probably delete later but just needed a moment of self-pity on my blog #also dunno why the tags have reordered themselves #first one should be after the in July one #another reason I'd rather be with my cats than people: they don't let me down haha
