how funny would it be if i found an internship because i was researching magnetic field physics for a post about bungoustraydogs the hit anime and manga series created by kafka asagiri

#i fell into a rabbit hole looking up the institutes of the researchers who wrote the paper on moon-earth magnetic interactions #i'm gonna send out some emails tomorrow morning to see if they have any internship projects available lmao #i've already sent out like 6 emails and applied to 3 formal positions but only got one response that idk how to respond to because #djfhskdjfhslf basically i contacted someone at an observatory i've never been to because her research is cool and her name was familiar #but turns out she is actually based at the observatory i worked last summer and the first line of her reply was hi did we meet last summer #djfhjkfhkh HELP i'm embarrassed because i don't remember her and i actually don't want to work at the same place again #not that i don't like it but i specifically want to experience different work environment. so WHAT DO I REPLY #especially since so far she is the only one who has replied with a potential project so far #but i need to say no but also what if no one else replies #anyway ignore this tangent it was just so embarrassing but funny i literally don't know what to reply but i feel bad if i were to ghost her
