podcast rec! been listening to Pretending to Be People a lot recently and really enjoying it! I’m not quite caught up yet, I’m in the chunk of bonus scenarios between seasons but season 1 was a really fun ride and I’m looking forward to starting and catching up with season 2.

#it's an actual play podcast playing an amalgam of mainly delta green but also borrowed parts of pulp cthulu #where a bunch of weird shit starts going down in a small town and escalating very quickly #watch our three PCs try to deal with and solve mysteries that rapidly go to 11 and beyond and just keep going #it sort of all takes place in one Very Bad week except there's also time stuff and a time loop and flashback mini-campaigns #the gm is great with words and descriptions and the players make such neat roleplaying choices and all the cast are hilarious #and the ambient music tracks are all very cool #anyway it's a hell of a ride and if I could draw I'd be sprinkling your dash with so many things I want to draw from it #and when I'm caught up I can actually go looking for stuff #sorry wolf I promise I plan to check out all those links when I can do so without getting spoiled #funny part of getting into malevolent and this one back-to-back is that malpod never jumpscared me but this one sure did a few times
