so i loooooved scream 7 like love love love but i cannot b the only one who thought the romance between chad and tara was stale as fuck

#like. im not even gonna say it was unnecessary or shouldnt have happened #because they totally could have planted the seeds for a slowburn with 7 that would come to fruition in 8 #but ...... that shit literally came out of nowhere LOL #20 minutes into the film and those two are trying to kiss each other #as if they didnt exchange less than 5 lines of dialogue in 6 #and chad's gf didn't get brutally slaughtered right in front of him like a year ago #“you don't know how long i'd been waiting to do that” YEAH?? YEAH?? #ENLIGHTEN ME. WHEN EXACTLY WITHIN THIS TIMELINE DID YOU CATCH FEELINGS FOR TARA. #BECAUSE NOT ONLY DID I NOT SEE IT BUT I AM MILDLY CONCERNED BY THE IMPLICATIONS OF IT #with all that being said tho i loooooved the found family aspect of the core 4 #im not saying you CANT have found family AND romance within the say story #but in this one the romance definitely distracted from the found family #which was such a highlight of the film it gave me so many warm fuzzies <333 #data's log
