#idk why I thought opening twt after waking up from a nightmare was a good idea #it’s like jumping from one bad dream to another #i saw someone I followed (past tense cause I unfollowed immediately) #qrt some rando who fucking know who the person they’re qrtig is mad as hell cause that person (an American allegedly) #said it’s not a bad idea to raise the retirement age in nations where people are living longer #let it be known rn I think that’s stupid and that’s a common sentiment held here I’ve not heard a single person EVER #say they want to work longer #anyways that’s not the problem #the problem is they qrt it by saying Americans shouldn’t speak on it because theyll probably get shot before they love long enough etc etc #why did people get so comfortable talking like that #there was just a school shooting like two days ago and young kids died your jokes aren’t funny man #the system is fucked up and people have been fighting to get rid of the second amendment and people are dying in that process #at some point you have to learn to disagree w/o being so vile man have some empathy you can make your point w/o being disgusting #the one demographic that can’t vote for their own rights or protection are suffering the most and you using a very real problem #when little kids just died and people are trying to heal from that is so gross
