i was talking to @dove-da-birb about traits we don't get to see in otome love interests since they all kinda have the same body type and face (no facial hair, no grey hairs, no acne scars, same skinny/muscular body type) so i'm going to share my headcanons on what i think each suitor would have!!

this includes ikevamp, ikepri, ikerev, ikesen, and mystic messenger ^^

definitely has a stubble that scratches against your cheek when they snuggle you:

leonardo, arthur, theo, faust, chevalier, nokto, silvio, edgar, zero, ray, dalim, zen, mitsuhide akechi, kenshin uesugi, sasuke sarutobi, motonari mouri, kennyo.

has smile lines and crows feet that make your heart skip a beat every time you see them:

napoleon, mozart, dazai, sebastian, will, vlad, clavis, jonah, luka, dean, blanc, saeyoung choi, jihyun kim, masamune date, yukimura sanada, yoshimoto imagawa.

has grey hairs...gee wonder why! doesn't matter because you're there to comment on how pretty they are:

comte, leon, sariel, gilbert, lancelot, sirius, oliver, jumin han, nobunaga oda, hideyoshi toyotomi, kicho.

they have some pudge. it can be around their thighs, chest, stomach, doesn't matter, you love it anyway:

they have acne scars that you kiss every night:

COMMENTS: first time writing for ikesen AND yoshimoto so please have mercy

“There’s no need to be shy.” Yoshimoto smiles softly at you as he undresses, his clothing hitting the ground one article at a time.

You still find yourself flustered, turning your back on him as you begin to undress. The steam of the hot spring must be getting to you, you think, because your face is heating up far more than usual.

It must just be the effect of being so close to him.

By the time you’ve stripped and collected yourself, Yoshimoto has already soaked himself in the bath, leaning his head back against the border. He looks so lovely like this. You’ve never been oblivious to his beauty, but the slope of his neck compliments his collarbones so well and his hair cascades down his shoulders like the water cascades down the rocks, and you swear he's glistening as the water sloshes over his skin.

You dip your feet in the water before sliding in yourself, taking your rightful place next to him.

“You’re so graceful. You look so beautiful when you move, like a work of art.” he murmurs.

“You were watching?” you feel yourself growing warm again as he stares at you with that soft smile on his face.

“It would be a crime to not watch someone so beautiful.” he replies, his voice low as he leans into you, “If I could spend all my days watching your limbs twist and your muscles work, I would do so without a second thought.”

You lean into him too, both to feel his warmth and hide your flustered expression. He always seems to know when he’s embarrassing you and takes great pleasure in doing so, much to your chagrin.

“You’re so...” you trail off, trying to find the right words to say, “You’re so sweet with your words. It really gets to me sometimes.”

Yoshimoto chuckles lightly, and you make the mistake of looking over at him in confusion.

“I sure hope you find my speech sweet. I don’t want anyone else to charm you, after all.”  he says as he lays his hand over yours, your fingers intertwining in the pleasantly hot water.

What a wonderful man you have fallen in love with. You hope and pray he never stops showering you with his flowery prose and dramatic compliments.

i genuinely never thought i would find a character that feels the same way about human connection that i do. but when sasuke talked about how he was able to let people go so easily because he just accepted it as fate threw me for a loop because i was always able to say goodbye to people really easily and never really mourned a lost friendship. mc treating it like it was some horrible thing was a little off-putting because that's just how i lived and that's how i continue to live, but knowing cybird wrote that into a character makes me think that maybe that experience is more common than i thought.
