zeus was no stranger to the end of a sword.  more powerful men than luke had pointed a weapon at him, and that much was obvious in the nonchalance zeus wore then.   “i hope you know what you’re doing with that.”  he drawled, raising a brow at the demigod before turning his gaze back to the paperwork in his lap.   “you better be real sure this is the course of action you want to take right now.   you look like an excellent conductor.”

his gaze grew harder, flitting back up to luke.  the air turned electric, almost hard to breathe.  “make your decision.”

Clara groans as feet reach ground. She doubles over, clutching her stomach. It’s happened before, but it’s very rare that people are able to summon her successfully. She’d been enjoying herself on a paradise planet and then poof. Another groan before she looks up. She’s back on Earth. She can feel it, and she looks around before brown eyes fall on him. She straightens up, head tilting. “Couldn’t you have given me any warning?” She steps forward, her eyes flicking over him. “Who are you? Why did you call me?”

HADES LOOKS DOWN at the young man as he stands before him, little more than a CHILD.  He knows full well what the boy had been trying to do, that he had been trying to return Kronos so that there could be the start of a new era, one without the gods.  And yet, despite the fact that his father's return is one of Hades' own DEEPEST fears, he can't bring himself to judge the boy as harshly as he probably SHOULD.

He'd been a HERO, in the end, even if it had taken a broken promise to show him what needed to be done.  There had been GOOD in him, though he had forgotten it for a time.

And so, Hades cannot bring himself to pass harsh sentence on the young man currently refusing to meet his gaze.  "Do you think that's what you DESERVE?" Hades asked, dark eyes watching Luke.  In truth, he had not yet decided on his fate....., but seeing him here before him, he was inclined to be LENIENT.

While Hades normally would have been inclined towards mercy for one so young, the shade who stood before him now was responsible for setting in motion the events that had led to his daughter's DEATH, to traumatizing his young son.  Any wish for lenience had been erased the moment Bianca's soul entered the Underworld.

"Do you have anything to say for yourself?" Hades demanded, his mouth set in a hard line.  For before Luke stood the dread Lord of the Underworld, King Hades, and he was ANGRY.
