sometimes when i'm sitting at my desk without acknowledging albatross for too long, she does this thing where she gets up on her hind legs to very gently tap the back of my arm with one of her front paws and i think if every person in the world was able to experience the sheer joy of looking down into the little face of a small creature who is very politely asking if it can get onto your lap for pets and kissies, i think we would be 10 steps closer to achieving world peace.
