This was not a moment where someone just… slit her throat for some sort of ritual. This was a sustained combat encounter were Lucy Frostblade, a child, A literal Child, was killed by her friends. Killed by the people who she had spent years healing and protecting

And she had time to recognize that, and engage in combat. Multiple assailants. Ivy and Skuttle and Oisin and Ruben and Kipperlilly all fought and killed her. This was not an instant, Lucy had time to scream, then plead, and then finally beg for her life before being executed.

This was not a fair fight, this was not a quick fight, and I can not imagine the terror Lucy Frostblade would be feeling. The helplessness, the betrayal, the horror. Multiple assailants.

And then they left her in the fucking woods to rot. And not only that, they mocked her. Oh, Lucy likes the animals and tries to help them? Well, now that she’s dead we’re not the High Five Heros, we’re the Rat Grinders. In light of Spot telling us that she would hang back AND BRING BACK THE DEAD RATS, the name choice? Sickening. I hate it so much. And all the rat grinders.
