When it comes to modern Baavira AUs the thing I struggle with most is giving Kuvira a reasonable normal job~ Baatar I could come up with several (college professor, an engineer of any kind, repairman, ect.) but Kuvira stumps me a lot of the time lol nothing ever really feels like something she'd naturally choose to want to do, or at least fits with my interpretation of her hmm

#LoK Thoughts #[ I have a couple modern set AUs with them and in all of them idk what her job is lol #in 2 Baatar is a college engineering professor and 1 he's a repairman lol #but Kuvira I just don't know #being a dancer based of S3 feels a little too easy #and I wish we could have known more about how she felt about dancing #like did she enjoy it? or was she just doing it because she was kind of steered towards it #security guard feels too broad and dispassionate for her #I've seen some people just nebulously make her a 'business woman' but like.. in what sense? lol #owning a company or running a company I could maybe see #but like what kind of company? #I don't like the idea of her being the owner/manager of whatever Baatar is doing either #his whole thing is that he doesn't want to work in someone's shadow or feel lesser than #so idk it's something I'm still thinking about lol ]
