Jerry has been out on the street for 12 years at the corner of 5th and 30th. I gave him a sandwich with the works and a soda but I got much more in exchange. When I went to buy the sandwich, I told the deli man who it was for. He loaded it up and we discussed the beauty of Jerry’s connection with the birds. Jerry is happier than most and his bright smile shows it. On 5th ave there are Rolls Royce cars, designer hand bags and general fanciness. However, there were only 3 persons I passed today with a smile on their faces . Jerry pictured here, Manny from a flower store who recognized me from YouTube, and myself, when I saw my reflection from having interacted with both. I walked 5 miles in the city today,if I passed you and you weren’t smiling, I am expecting one tomorrow. Today’s podcast will be about Jerry so stay tuned for that.
