I wish there was better ace out there so people wouldn't settle for queerbaiting as good rep

#this is more of a vent than anything #this could really apply to other people but Im refer to something specific #even some of good ace rep isnt wjat it could be #like heartstoppers has some issues despite the author being aroace #they kinda shot themself in the foot cuz if your story is literally had no other plot besides romance #non-romance characters are given anything to do and instead of a partner hes just hold an ace book and there other stuff i could go on abou #and hes also the only lead who isnt thin and it just... lot of personal feelings on that #i have gotten to the rep in sex ed but ive heard Drama about it from.the writer/consultant and ive heard good and bad about that writer too #bojack horseman having my fabkrite rep kinda sucks cuz like...its a good show but its bojack #todds a great character but its todd from bojack #i know there are other that are better but i have yet to see them
