[Autistic] I actually appreciate it when people let me know that someone is deliberately being malicious rather than ignorant or confused.

#doing the fallout check format from that other post <3 #anyway this is sincere. it helps me because i constantly doubt my responses #and whether anger was warranted or not #because i genuinely can't tell from the tone whether people are being hostile or what #and obv we're all on edge right now so i tend to assume the worst and then doubt myself after #so when people explain the intent. it reassures me that my instincts were right #also trying to remind myself that i WILL mess up one day and interpret something in bad faith when it isn't #and it won't be the end of the world and i will have to handle it like an adult and be better #but constant fear of engaging because i think i will avoid screwing up isn't constructive
