To me the Poochie episode of the Simpsons is the Sam and Max episode. ramble ramble in the tags

#sam but he's voiced by dan castellaneta and max is voiced by billy west #not to bang on about it v interesting that voice actors struggled a bit w Sam. classic Homer is probably the closest comparison #classic homer is dumb but he isnt slow. he feels entitled to ramble on about any topic. only comparable character for me tbh #for instance Sam really has that energy of a dad who refuses to read the manual for anything #'then what was that big happy button I pushed?' #'its called a hod Max.
