how was the ass surgery my parasocial bestie

it went good and im not having any pain yet 👀👀 what they did is they probed the tract (under general) and used cautery to open it up and burn the edges of the wound... so now i have a 5cm long open wound shsieiq9ajahwha but the goal is that it granulates and produces tissue from the bottom up (where its not burnt) so that the skin doesnt close up first and create another tract

#the worst part tbh was that the first nurse tried to put in an iv and it failed and it hurt so fucking bad #its all bruised up #and they packed the tract w gauze after surgery and pulling it out hurt like a bitch #but i think its not hurting YET bc they cauterized all the nerve endings #so itll start acting up when they regrow #theu gave me a week of pain medications so hopefully ill manage that alright #bc the plan is to go back to work on tuesday (monday is thanksgiving) #and maybe just stand while i work ajsuwiwiajaha
