today (and the next two days) i get to learn more GIS stuff yay MAPS!!!!! yay COORDINATE SYSTEMS!!!!! yay DATA!!!!!!!!!!!!

#once i got over the 'had to get on the already 8:30am-5pm zoom call EARLY on the first day' i am now excited #but it does suck ASS that i have to log on 30 min before my workday technically starts. and then if we dont get a lunch break #then im working an hour and a half more each day for three days than im getting paid for #BUT they also paid probably like several grand for me to do this #anyways. definitely the youngest (and most. technologically familiar. on just an it support level) person in this call lol

can i stop having laptop issues. like can my laptops please stop deciding to have some bullshit thing break or stop working out of fucking nowhere, or at the very fucking least give me a motherfucking warning ahead of time. also lenovo support can suck my fucking dick for how incredibly fucking useless they are

also can like. shit in fucking general stop being so ungodly abrupt, like very single motherfucking time something does wrong, i’m completely blindsided by it and i am beyond fucking fed up w/ it

i seriously do not need anything else to pile onto this already horrible fucking stressful as fuck week, like the only solace i have is that at least this piece of shit device still works so long as i have it plugged in, but idk if i can get a replacement battery for it, or where i would even get one. 

and the point still fucking remains that there was zero fucking warning for this shit, like working perfectly last night, full battery (i always have it charged), i’m able to open it up and log in like normal this morning, then all the sudden it decides to shut off b/c it’s apparently at 0% now, and no amount of charging it will fix that.

blah blah grumble grumble capitalism is purposefully making us buy low quality products so we’re forced to shell out an unreasonable amount for their exclusive support companies to tell us they can’t fix it and we’ll just have to start over w/ a new product, thus restarting the motherfucking cycle. b/c if it’s not one thing, there’s always a-fucking-nother; if it’s not the audio drivers, it’s the battery, it’s the camera, it’s the screen, it’s the charging port. 

i’m just so fucking tired. i’ve wanted this week to end since last thursday, and this is just more icing on the shit cake. and lords know that’s the last thing my diabetic ass needs

edit before i post: i noticed the battery icon at the bottom had filled in a tiny bit; i did try messing around in some settings earlier, so i guess that did help (it says “4 hr 2 min to full charge” then updated to 3hr 3min like a few seconds later), but i’m not convinced that fixes the problem of the degraded battery capacity. and i have considered it may be an update i ignored that needs to be installed, but i can’t even do that unless i have 30% to spare, and right now it still won’t tell me what percentage it’s at. also just fucking love that shit where it needs battery power to install an update that would fix the battery issue at hand; fucking ingenious design right there
