#it's so different from anything i've seen #i can't form a coherent analysis on it rn but it's a really interesting change #the rest of the production is not super notable lol #there are some standout performances but also the normal issues with hs productions #but the comments on the yt vid are really funny to me bc they're all really critical and it's like #what did u expect lmao #don't get me wrong not every hs performance is terrible #but it's weird that people expect broadway-level sets and costuming and acting when these are children and the budget is probably like. #$10 and a safety pin #(safety pin reference for the managers <3) #also the rest of the PONR blocking is really weird and distant so it made this even more interesting
