should i invest time into writing a book? i had an idea for one that i really enjoyed, but i know how long publishing takes, so it feels like a waste of time

there's also a collaborative dnd story i wanted to write with my dm friend (hiiii @whynotsableye) that i still want to write but idk if anybody would be interested in reading it or even how that would work. do people read just? like? serial short stories?? would that be something people would be into? i can't draw and neither can she so it would just be us writing....

idk. im still jobless and getting no responses and i just. yeah. everything sucks

#my birthday is in like 4 days and i feel like shit lol #like...truly i got my degree!! and now i cant find a job #so it feels a lot like what was the point of that #and it makes writing anything hard because i end up in a cycle of hatred for wasting my own time #and its hard ot write words when youre busy hating urself #however. i did write a bit tonight and actually enjoy it #and then i decided to catch up on A Tale of Crowns which was lovely #but now im thinking about the art trades i just flaked on and im hating myself again #i will do them... my writers block is being chipped away at once i can get the words flowing like they were back in like march i will be #able to do things again ;n;

2. When was the last time you cried? lmao like last thursday or something. tbf in marketing class my prof. was showing all these emotional commercials (its called “sadvertising”) and let me tell you, 4 commercials i was fine but 5 in a row was just too many for me  

3. Do you like your handwriting? yeah, i guess? i get told its unreadable like, 90% of the time so thats fun but i like it. its quick and a smoosh between cursive and.. not cursive? i..i forget what thats called rip

4. What is your favourite lunch meat? idk. i’m not really a “lunch meat” person. idk, turkey probably? maybe ham

5. Do you have kids? I’m a kid????? (that was lea’s answer but imma steal it cause true)

If you were another person, would you be friends with you? uuuhhhhhh, probably? i’d like to think i’d be but i dont know if “other me” me would have the same humour or friends and stuff. there’s really a lot of variables in becoming someones friend (plus which one of us would talk first to the other first?! much pressure)
