okay so Izzy stabbed Stede and Stede stabbed Ed so my brain was like 'lmao now Ed should stab Izzy' but now I just have So Many Feelings about that.........

Like....... I'm thinking about Ed breaking his 'not directly killing people' thing? And it's to try and kill the person who was the closest thing he had to a friend before Stede. But to truly complete the trifecta Izzy also has to survive?? but with their relationship irrevocably changed. Maybe for the better, maybe for the worse, maybe both, but inevitable different, because that is a level of betrayal greater than any of the fucked up shit that Ed and Izzy have done to each other.
