To be honest, you weren’t even sure when you started to cry. All you knew was that you needed to cry and per usual whenever you were in this mood, you had started to play your sad playlist.

Putting on your headphones and lying in bed to soak in the feels. Letting the melody and lyrics bleed into your heart & mind. Allowing yourself to experience whatever it was you were feeling.

With the blankets being pulled up to your chest, you found yourself crying into it. You wished that there was some known reason why you were feeling this way. Lately life has been alright and nothing was stressful. However, the need for an answer is not always needed.

The bed felt like it was swallowing you whole so you got up. Laying against the bed frame and listening to the music. Only then do the tears end up painting your face. It felt so nice to cry it out but it also hurt.

Not even bothered to try to dry your face in case someone saw you like this. Besides, the only person who might see you was your boyfriend. And last time you checked, he would be coming home late so it was fine. Little did you know, he was worrying about you.

It seems like you had forgotten that he can see your Spotify, therefore can see what you’re listening to. The Boyz were practicing for their next comeback but in between, they’d take breaks. They were using Jacob’s laptop since they had the tracks and everything. During one of the breaks, he went to choose the next song since it was his turn to choose.

Right before he selects a track, his eyes slide over to the friend’s activity section on Spotify. When his eyes scan for your name and see what you’re listening to, they subtly widen. He wanted to send a quick text but couldn’t as he heard the members asking him to pick a song.

Telling himself that he’d text you soon but it slipped his mind. More like his mind ended up getting stuck between trying to focus on getting the new choreography right and worrying about how you were feeling.

It had gotten to the point where the other members started to pick up that Jacob’s head clearly wasn’t 100% here. Asking him what was wrong or if he needed a break. He had waved them off and reassured them that he was fine. However, Kevin knew he was lying… actually everyone did but they weren’t going to push Jacob because they knew it might not go anywhere.

Nonetheless, Kevin had wanted to help Jacob if he could. So he caught Jacob during a break to ask him again. And surprisingly Jacob was straight forward about it.

He didn’t want to hide anymore and felt the need to tell someone, but at the same time he didn’t want to just tell everyone. He felt scared that it would end up distracting everyone and ruining the vibe for tonight. Plus they were only getting closer and closer to the comeback music video shooting. So they really needed to get this choreography down and nail it when they film.

After Jacob lets Kevin know about what’s on his mind, Kevin does his best to comfort Jacob that it’s valid for him to worry and if he really is concerned, the members will understand if he leaves early. The members all love you, maybe even more than Jacob (whatttt? Who said that?), and care for you. More than anything, they value your relationship and happiness. A quick hug and Jacob is left again to his thoughts.

He knows what Kevin says is true but would it really be okay for him to just take off like that? Pondering and walking in circles. Anyone could see that Jacob was clearly thinking hard about something. Thinking so much he didn’t even hear Sangyeon call him over.

As he snaps out of it, Jacob confesses what’s been going on tonight to Sangyeon. Kevin’s words ring true as Sangyeon quite literally tells him the same thing. “Jacob, you know we care about you two. We would hate to make you feel like you have to be here to practice instead of being with y/n. Besides, you've been doing really well with this new choreography. Just go. Go to y/n and let them know we care about them too.” Sangyeon assures him and pats Jacob’s back.

Jacob can’t help but let out a sigh of relief and give Sangyeon a quick hug before bolting out of the company building to your apartment. He hopes that he’s not too late. Texting you that he’ll be there soon. To no avail, he doesn’t get a response on the way there. Jacob had also stopped by a convenience store to pick up your favorite snacks and his dinner.

Once he arrives, he’s dashing up the stairs and unlocking the door. When he steps foot inside the apartment, it’s super quiet. Calling out your name to see where you are, the only thing that answers him is silence.

Eventually he reaches the bedroom and that’s where he sees you. Your headphones are still in, your face is glistening due to the tears, and your back is up against the wall. Jacob does his best to get your attention so that he doesn’t startle you. Unfortunately, you seemed to have spaced out.

He ends up slowly but surely scooting on the bed next to you. Replacing the blanket with his arms wrapping around you. Using his hands to wipe away your tears and moving your hair out of your face. The feeling of his hands on yours is the moment you realize he’s home.

For a few good minutes, he’s just holding you and not saying anything. Conversely you're holding onto him and not saying anything either. His heartbeat is beating quite quickly and you wonder if it’s because of you.

Jacob removed one headphone from your ear and put it in his. “My darling, are you feeling okay? I know it sounds like a stupid question and everything but I got really worried when I saw you were listening to this playlist.” He’s now facing you and uses his fingers to lift your face towards him.

“I… I don’t know to be honest. I don’t know why I’m even crying or feeling this way. I just do and it sucks. Also shouldn’t you be at practice?” Your eyebrows furrow when you realize that he was indeed supposed to be at practice. But then he softens as he glides his finger against your eyebrows.

“Don’t furrow your eyebrow, darling. You’ll get more wrinkles that way. To answer your question, yes but it’s okay. I talked about it to the members before I left. By the way, they wanted to relay the message that they care about you too.” Before he continues, his hands find his way to yours. Intertwining them before giving your hand a kiss.

“I just wanted to let you know, my precious darling, that it’s completely okay to not know why. Not all questions have answers. I just hope you know that I love you. We can stay here and cuddle as long as you want.” Your eyes look up at his face. They say that the eyes are the window to the soul. Another truth that rings true because Jacob’s eyes are soft and kind just like his soul (and heart).

You don’t say too much but you snuggle in closer into his body. Letting him know that you’ll take him up on his offer. Whispering a soft “thank you” and pausing your music. In due time, you end up switching your playlist to a more lighthearted one. Fitting for the moment you’re in with your one and only (Jacob) bae.

Just as you two are about to doze off, his stomach lets out a roar and wakes y’all up. You can’t help but laugh at the way the moment is now declared over. “Cobie, I’m feeling better and you are hungry. Let’s go eat something delicious!” Planting a kiss on his forehead and getting out of bed to cook dinner.

You extend your hand to him expecting him to get up but instead he pulls you back into the bed. Snuggling into your neck to pepper you with kisses. The only reasonable reaction to this was to laugh. It tickled and you appreciated whenever he got like this with you.

It reminded you that while love may not be perfect, the love you guys have for each other comes pretty close to it. That and to cherish the moments we have together. There is truly no one else other than Jacob Bae who could give you better late night cuddles.

WHY I STOPPED BEING A FAN OF MATT SKIBA

He supports the police as an instutition, specifically Chicago PD. He made a post on Instagram in favor of CPD which ofc received backlash from fans but he ignored the negative comments and brushed it off as “there are bad people in every profession” and then he deleted the post. Also, here are some “cute” pics of him wearing police-related stuff [x] [x] and check out this post of him “repping” new CPD merch on his car [x] (he disabled the comments).

He supports the military, which might be because his parents served in the Vietnam war, but that doesn’t make it less shitty. Examples for his military-support can be found all over his Instagram. [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] and so on... and in this post he’s delighted that a soldier in Afghanistan is wearing an Alkaline Trio patch. [x]

He’s close friends with Asia Argento / or had possible romantic relationship with her and he still sells t-shirts with her face on them in his merch shop. For those of you who don’t know her, she was one of the leaders of the #metoo movement but then it was revealed that she herself had sex with an intoxicated 17-year-old (!) and her bf Anthony Bourdain gave the boy money so he would keep his mouth shut about the incident, ((later Bourdain committed suicide))

Story of a fan who gave Matt a letter criticizing him for being friends with Argento, and the same night he posted a picture of her on IG (I think it was this post)… which seems like a subtle F*CK YOU at the person who gave him the letter. (he can’t take criticism, can he?)

His IG activity is .. something else. Matt’s major interests are motorbikes, cars, and young, attractive, half-naked models and strippers. HE LOVES GUNS (+said that he would use them) he has quite a big gun collection: SIG SAUERs, a Morning Star, many knifes, a shotgun, a Desert Eagle gun, a samurai sword, a faux snakeskin baton, and more stuff I can’t remember, he posted his collection on November 5th 2018 on IG, but unfortunately I didn’t take a screenshot!! but he posted them individually on IG. In the comments of the same post (I swear on my life it’s real, you have to trust me) a user commented that he’s a Trump supporter but he would still defend Matt, even if he’s “politically left”. Matt’s answer: “I would defend you too, my man!”. o k a y. then Matt said he identifies as “quite a bit left” o K AY. MATT. Just so btw. the user also had a name including “88″ ( is a code phrase commonly used in fascist circles for “Heil Hitler”) or he just meant the year 88. but I saw some racist “memes” on his IG too.

Matt has a weird obsession with WW2. He literally watched a holocaust docu on HIS FUCKING BDAY (or at least he posted about it) and he said he collects WW2 books. Theoretically, nothing wrong with being interested in history, but in the context of everything… bad vibes……….

He really loves Nordic/Scandinavian-related stuff, like jewelry of the Hammer of Thor etc and he even uses MS runes for his merch. Runes are popular among occultists but they also have a really problematic history concerning WW2 and the nazis. Considering one of his most favorite bands Death in June mentions runes in their lyrics and they are a REALLY REALLY questionable band flirting with nazi imagery and being openly affiliated with fascist and far-right satanists, I have every right to question Matt’s intentions.

He literally has a crutch cross tattoo on his chest (which was used as the symbol of Austro-Fascism, and is also the logo of the neo folk - nazi band Blood Axis) PHOTO 1, PHOTO 2 and an EDELWEISS tattoo [x], which is the national flower of Austria and is considered a magical flower in occult circles. Nothing wrong with having a flower tattoo but it was used a lot in the context of nationalsocialism and “traditional values”. To add, it was also used as a symbol of the 1st Mountain division “Gebirgsjäger” in WW2 (Hitler’s elite formation of the Wehrmacht who were involved in large scale war crimes).

He owns several Death In June patches, their merch [x] [x] [x] [x] etc. and other patches and buttons featuring nazi-related symbols. [DIJ WIKI]. He is also friends with their singer. Matt’s a huge DIJ fan, attended their concerts [x] and Douglas P. reads the intro of the Alkaline Trio song “I Found Away”. DIJ uses fascist symbols and “aesthetics” for the band, including an SS Totenkopf logo.

Matt painted the same logo and exhibited it at an art show [x]

HE LITERALLY DID PAINTINGS REFERENCING DOLLFUSS AND MUSSOLINI and another piece of “art” called “surf nazis” [x] what the actual f   u    c  k .. and here he is with his painting of Mickey Mouse as Hitler [x]

HE IS BEST FRIENDS with Boyd Rice, (here’s a picture of them holding Wolfsangels, a nazi symbol) they are REALLY CLOSE. According to Rice’s IG they meet every week and hang out and Rice considers Matt “family”… the entire Boyd Rice shit can be read in this post (important please read). Matt even attacked fans that were calling him out and called them stupid.

Matt made a racist remark a few years ago about Chinese people [x] and according to him //or he’s joking// he has a tattoo on his dick that says “welcome to Jamaica” which can be interpreted as racist.

Many of the movies he praises blatantly depict violence against women, like Blue Velvet, Funny Games, A Clockwork Orange (it has almost 3 rape scenes in the first 15 minutes), lyrics like “Radio” can be seen as misogynist, he literally wishes that his ex-GF (/or someone’s ex-gf) should take a bath with a radio and get electrocuted.

A person on IG commented that his ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic violence, I have no proof for that but he deleted the comments ofc and then a few days later he donated money to a women’s shelter in LA… which seems like he’s trying to avoid a shitstorm…

Matt used to be a member of the Church of Satan, just leaving this here. you can argue if it’s good or bad but there seems to be a connection between satanists and neo-nazis .. sadly.

He listed the song* “Los Angeles” by X among his faves in this interview [x] (*edit: Someone has reached out to me and explained that the song was not racist, antisemitic or anything but from the *perspective* of a racist. However, we don't know Matt's reason for liking the song and considering his WW2 fetish, it's sketchy that he would consider the song as one of his favorites. Maybe he likes it because the song openly says things out loud under the veil of "sarcasm" that would be criticized under different circumstances. Tell me about your drama 💅🏻💅🏻

Oh man, I personally do my best to stay out of the drama and like, I’m super non-confrontational, which might be a bad thing. But like, who doesn’t have drama? This will end up sounding confusing most likely cause I’m trying to make it discreet and not too obvious as to who it’s about.

This is more a friend’s drama, since I just removed myself from the situation. This happened about a year ago. This is not the full story since I probably don’t have the full story so it’s just my side.

We were all really good friends with someone (I’ll call him John) and then he had personal issues and while we really wanted to/tried to be there for him (even if he didn’t know it), he really changed a lot.

I’m pretty sure John cheated on his bf (I’ll call him Paul) before breaking it off (which, fine. Paul deserves better). Anyway, he left Paul for his new bf (will call him Voldemort), who is the same guy he cheated with and who just gave us an all-around bad vibe. Voldemort hates Paul and Voldemort acted super jealous of Paul. We didn’t like Voldemort even though we haven’t met him yet but we still wanted to be friends with John so we (or at least I) were willing to try.

So my friend and I went to visit them and we want to see both John and Paul even though they avoid one another and since John is always with Voldemort, John and Paul should not be in the same room.

So my friend spent like a week with John and Voldemort, I came later on in the week and was thinking to split the time spent with John and Paul in half, cause logic, but John wanted us to stay with him until the last day, during which we would go to see Paul. (My friend already spent a whole week with him so I think we deserved to go see Paul with the limited time we had.)

Anyway, going back to the bad vibe we got off Voldemort, while we were there it seemed a lot like Voldemort didn’t have a job and didn’t do anything to help around the house and just played video games all day long while John did all the work and paid all the bills, so we were really concerned for John but we didn’t want to just say it cause we were hoping to avoid unnecessary drama. Also Voldemort has a history of mistreating his past bf according to something I heard.

Also while we were staying there, John was very stingy about us using the AC because of bills and would come in and turn it off in the middle of the night. This would have been fine if they didn’t live in the super hot tropics and we were essentially guests visiting from colder lands up north, not used to that climate. I found it a bit rude and inhospitable, on top of the horrible state of his home, everything just being broken and dirty with dishes piled up and everything. (Usually I forgive a mess but this was something else, especially if you know people are staying over.) There were also times when we just really wanted to eat and were starving but John and Voldemort were in their room sleeping or whatnot so we couldn’t ask or anything. One morning I took the liberty to try to make us breakfast with the limited working facilities that were there. One night we even got Paul to come pick us up to grab a bite and hang out while the two slept. (At least we were allowed to do that.)

Still, we didn’t really complain about any of these things because we didn’t want to be rude or anything or hurt his feelings.

Anyway, my friend and John got into this argument later cause we wanted to go see Paul and tears were shed etc etc, and he even thought it was because we wanted him to get back together with Paul (hell no lol Paul’s way better off now). But anyway, eventually they make peace and Paul picks us up so we go over there and have a good gay ol’ time, but the whole conflict just kind of ruined the trip.

However, that wasn’t the end of it cause more drama followed that, which I won’t go into since I wasn’t directly involved, but after that John ended up unfriending my friend and everyone associated with my friend (including myself and my sister even though we never did anything to him???). And I really wanted to message him many times, still do, to just ask how he’s doing and what’s up but I feel kind of hurt that he just kinda deleted me with no explanation since I wasn’t involved at all in the drama that followed and he essentially told my friend that he got rid of people who don’t compose anything in his life or something so I was kinda really insulted by that and refused to confront him because I don’t want to stress over someone who doesn’t think I matter anything in his life apparently.

This got way too long and I left out so many things, but this was the stupidest drama I’ve ever had and I still miss the time when we were all just good friends and having a good time until the thing happened and Voldemort came into the picture. :/ Like, I wouldn’t be opposed to rekindling the friendship if it were possible but not if he doesn’t want to.
