What do you like about Nimona?

today on I forgor I had an ask in my inbox ANYWAY good god where do I start. The characters. The storytelling. The symbolism. The absurd humor. The style. Everything just came together so well and they did a phenomenal job on it. Like come on-

what's funnier than an "uptight" knight dancing next to a pink shark. C'mon. and the sunglasses sitting in an anatomically incorrect position on her face is hysterical.

But I think my favorite thing about the movie is that it did such a phenomenal job at balancing the serious theme of the negative effects of ostracizing people for being different, and not only how those people are just like us when we take the time to actually understand them, but how that attitude affects everyone, not just the victims...

...alongside all of the dumbass humor that kept me laughing throughout like 60-70% of the movie.

And I don't find a lot of media that manages to nail that perfect balance, but Nimona did it. I could go on forever about how much I love this movie, but I think that's my favorite part about it :)
