Having been a person who watches RT shows since I was like 12 (that is ten years.) I promise you any and all depth contained in any one of their shows is 100% accidental. Locus being the best character ever is cosmic coincidence and has nothing to do with the intent with which he was written. I know this because the same man who wrote him is also the lead writer of both rwby and camp camp. Which for the uninformed are both in their own special ways the worst fucking shows ever produced by a large established media production company
