starting to get worried abt this site's userbase and their determination to boil every evil in the world down to "tiktok did it"

#sorry that post thats going around thats like 'well nobody had a REASON to be worried about other social media so we're different' #REALLY? nobody had reason to be worried about facebook? about TUMBLR IN 2013?? #or the idea that lack of media literacy is "the tiktokification' of media #bc as we all know the tumblr teen generation was SO media literate in our day right? this is SO new right? #(that was me being sarcastic because almost the exact problems people complain about w tt were also true here) #avpost #i do think the app itself sucks. probably worse than any other social media out there. #but im kind of getting tired of boiling complicated society wide issues down to 'this one app that im not on is the true enemy.
