“Oh, you want to hear about my beloved Vivi? ♡“

Oh yes, you COULD hear the little hearts that escaped his lips when he spoke. Like candy-dipped intoxication somehow manifesting in an auditory hell. So sugary sweet that you’d rot and crumble if exposed for too long to him merely speaking of the weather. Morgan hopped slightly, resting on the railing of the hallway he was standing in, gazing out at the cosmos outside as if he could see the Gorgon lightyears away from there. Perhaps he could, he surely wouldn’t say.

“My, what is there to tell of a goddess in the flesh? A woman burning so warmly in a stony vessel that you’d believe she were plucked from the stars? ♡ Ah, but yes, you probably wish to hear more of our lovely time together than my bleeding heart’s endless prattle of her, assuredly. Why, I would be delighted to speak of the times I was graced with her presence being near my own!”

Hand placed fondly on his chest, showing a band of strange metal that seemed to flit in and out of existence when looked at in certain angles. It made the red stones ringed around the edges, shifting with dark nebulas within, all the more striking in the moments where the strange silvery metal just wasn’t there. Shifting like dark ruby eyes were watching, blinking, and always on the move.

“I was running off from my mother, after another spat. It was not uncommon when I was still close to her, you see. I landed on that nice little place called ‘Earth’ that time, woefully lost. And, like a... ‘lighthouse’, I believe it is called, there she was! ♡ My oh-so-wonderful Vera! There to take me by my hand and show me the sights the world had to offer. Why, who would not grow smitten with such a gracious woman?”

A fluffy and soft bubble of a laugh, as if someone had refined clouds down to something that could be spoken rather than just seen. 

“She was even kind enough to set me up with room and board at her own expense until I got my bearings! Yes, it was like finding an oasis in a desert planet! She was mon souffle (oh, did I use that right? Earth languages are so difficult on the tongue) in this world, you see, so it is only natural I wished to stay with her more. So that is what I tried to do. I learned all those pleasant Earth customs for her and marveled as she was so smitten with me in turn! How it made my hearts alight with things I could never truly put into words! ♡

I even proposed, yes, and it was a joyous thing... Ah, yet alas, soon after was when my mother unfortunately found me. Whisked me back by the scruff for my transgressions. Told me to break it off because it was not proper. So that is what I did, doing my best to.. make it as soft as the sudden thing could be. I only hope she understands it was not by choice. 

After all, when you are told to leave things behind, as its time has passed, and you must return to how things are meant to be
