Seeing everyone reblog that hobby post with 'printmaking, foraging, birding' and I'm like hi.....

#i do those (: i like them #some tips for the latter two: download PictureThis and Merlin respectively #merlin IDs birds from photos. can record and id songs. and can even ID by description sometimes #PictureThis free version is kinda limited but its a good place to start with wild plants #like itll tell you if you have a wild grape or blueberry or whatever #it + some common sense and research will get ya started with foraging #as for printmaking just get some lino [grey stuff is nice. the mounted lino from blick is goood] #and get a speedball carver. the red plastic kind with the interchangable heads #then a stamp pad'll work for smaller things #but youll need some inking tools for any larger things #but feel free to ask me stuff if yall want! im definitely still a newbie with foraging and esp birding
