Watching Captain Marvel get ready to take on Loki at the end of What If was lowkey hilarious to me because she's super powered by the Tesseract (which Loki has never had a negative effect from) so I can just see her going and blasting him with a Tesseract energy surge and it not even phasing him

she's going to have to physically fight him XD

#im just imagining Fury calling Carol down and she's like 'what's up' and Fury is like 'some guy named Loki took over the planet' #and Carol who is friends with Loki has a straight face like ''oh?'' #so anyway she greets Loki with a photon blast and he's like ''huh>??? oh!!! carol!!!!'' #and then she punches him across the room and he's like ''oh. okay then'' and the entire fight is practically staged #when it's time for the final blows....................that's not a punch director fury that is a fist bump #so anyway #carol is like ''so why'd you take over'' and loki is like ''thor's dead'' and she just nods #and then her report to fury is like ''of course he took over the planet earth already falls under the nine realms he just needed a getaway' #and fury is just ?????!???!??!??!? #Fury: i cant believe it. i named a team after you. and now you're compromised #Carol: he's mourning. give him a moment #he's in a big rush to get steve out of the ice #but carol refuses to use sun energy to help him so he's working on it with a hairdryer #What If?
