diego casts an annoyed gaze towards the american as he indeed munches on rocks. his predator instincts have receded enough to render him harmless, but they still manifest in the growl that rumbles low in his gravelly throat.

diego raises a brow in emphasis as he thumbs a sharp incisor. his own diet has ‘improved’ to that of the raw meat of wild animals caught during his transformation hunts, combined with an increasing dependence on whisky to numb the head-splitting tooth aches.

“  really, you should give it a try.  ”

he grins as he extends a gloved palm out, offering three small stones to pick from. it’s a joke. one that is sure to be far more amusing to himself than to its recipient— a man diego has learned to be a notorious tough crowd. but he isn’t one to ever give up.
