hello and welcome! this is an independent roleplay blog for geralt of rivia from The Witcher series (also lovingly referred to as Catdad🐱). primarily book/game canon and extremely headcanon-based (as i'm too lazy tired to keep up with the ✨lore✨)

includes verses for other fandoms such as dragon age, skyrim, genshin impact, botw/totk, etc.

RULES

low/sporadic activity.

selective and private, which means I will only roleplay with mutuals. This goes for ask box memes, starter calls, etc.

very crossover friendly. Honestly, I actually rather prefer writing crossovers, as I find it more fun to develop relationships with characters Geralt would otherwise never meet. Of course I'll write with Witcher characters, too, but just to throw that out there for the other fandoms; you're exceptionally welcomed here!

multi-ship.

I will NOT roleplay smut on tumblr. Anything leading up to it is fine and I'm 100% down for flirting and the like, but any ships on this blog will be naught but "fade to black" in those situations. Thank you for understanding. 😊

Quick Guide to the Muse

Geralt is a witcher, or a monster hunter for hire. He fulfills contracts that earn him coin.

His eyes, gold and cat-like, are what people recognize and what mark him as a witcher along with the wolf head medallion around his neck.

He carries two swords on his back—one made of silver, the other of iron. It is believed that the former is for monsters and the latter for humans, but a myth, as iron too is lethal to particular breeds.

Due to mutations undergone in witcher training, he has superhuman abilities—heightened senses of all kinds—in addition to the use of certain magic.

As a witcher, he has a bad reputation. Witchers aren’t regarded highly. This goes for all verses; in most cases he is considered a mutant, abomination, freak, etc.
