“Yeah, I never saw them again. I just threw the car into reverse and gunned it out of there.” Gabe laughed, finishing his drink and motioning for the bartender for a refill. He looked around, reveling in the glow of being in the center of the crowd and having everyone’s attention. Well, almost everyone’s. There was a man sitting a bit off to the side by himself. Gabe leaned back, looking at him. “Come on, you have to have a tale of debauchery to share with us.”

Will and Dom had easily fallen into a routine. Up as late as they could muster, texting and sexting and then up for work the next day. It was hard at first, to remain completely professional when he saw him that first morning at drop off, but being surrounded by screaming children certainly made it a bit easier. As he and the twins walked up to the school, he spotted Dom and his stomach gave the familiar lurch and as he crossed the distance between them, he muttered to himself. “I’m a gentleman.” He took a deep breath before smiling at Dom. “Good morning, Mr. Russell.” He handed him the coffee and muffin that was now part of the routine. “I trust you are having a good Thursday morning.” He knew that Dom was as excited as he was about it finally being Thursday and it was obvious by the glint in his eye. “You two better behave today. Especially when your mother picks you up this afternoon. I want to enjoy my night off. I don’t want a phone call telling me I need to come home.” Will teased, giving them a look though he knew they would be fine.

Alfie had just finished up his meeting with the mayor and was making his way through the rest of the firehouse to check on everything.  Spotting Nate on the couch, he smiled softly before making his way over and joining him. “Seems like it’s been a pretty quiet night.” He mused, before looking over at the tv. “You watching anything good? It’s rare to get the good TV to yourself.”

Mariposa desperately needed a night out to try and dance away the stress of a long week.  She’d asked a few of her friends to come with but none of them were able to. She hadn’t thought it would be the worst idea until this guy at the club wouldn’t leave her alone no matter what she did. As he pressed himself against her again, she grabbed a man that was close to her and dancing by himself. “Please just help me get rid of this guy and I’ll buy your drinks for the rest of the night.” She pleaded, giving him her best puppy dog eyes.

Jake wasn’t in the best mood after he had gotten called into the bar last minute but such was the life when he worked for his brother.  Doing his best to hide his attitude, he grabbed a rag, wiping up the spills before heading over to the customer sitting by himself.  “Hey, how you doing tonight? Is there anything I can get you?” The man certainly didn’t look like the normal customer’s they got in the dive bar but he wasn’t here to judge the customers.  “Are you meeting someone?”

Morgan felt like their eyes were glazing over as they stared at the pile of short stories in front of them.  As much as they loved their job, some of these kids were really suffering in the creative part of their creative writing assignment.  With a sigh, they stood up and stretched before moving back to the line at the counter, desperately needing more coffee. They were so lost in their own world and thoughts that they didn’t hear the name that had been called out and just instinctively reached for the cup, taking a sip. Making a face, they coughed before looking at the man. “I think that was yours.”

Lola groaned as she stared at the blank canvas in front of her, her creativity failing her.  Painting always seemed so much easier until her teacher gave her a deadline.  She was a few seconds away from just throwing her paint at it and not caring what happened when she heard the knock on the door. She wasn’t expecting company and she wasn’t exactly thrilled by the prospect but it would be a distraction from her art project. Opening the door, she was about to question whoever it was when she saw that it was Elijah, giving him a small smile. “You’re lucky it’s you. I almost pretended I wasn’t here.” She teased, stepping aside to let him in.

William sighed as he waited outside the school for Rose and Cooper.  He knew that most of the kids were picked up in fancy cars by their parents and that as a male ‘nanny’ he was certainly in the minority, especially on the days he walked them home. But he loved his job and he didn’t care much what the other people said, except when it upset the twins.  Then it bothered him.  When he finally saw them exit the school, he gave them a wave before letting his eyes move over the body of the man behind them.  He walked over to them with a smile before letting his eyes meet the man’s. “Hi, I’m William. You must be their teacher...Mr....”

Andrew laughed with delight as Gabe held him. He was amazed at how safe and supported he felt in the man’s arms even with the hint of danger. Normally Andrew’s mind would be racing with everything that could go wrong but Gabe brought out a side of him that he didn’t even know existed. “You know *most* people would’ve just grabbed a chair right?” He teased playfully. “Not that I’m complaining, I’m honestly pretty impressed how easily you were able to lift me. All that time at the gym has really paid off.” Andrew said with approval. “Hey!” He shouted practically squealing in delight. “You’re gonna pay for that one later! If you keep that up you’re gonna make me drop the star!” 

Gabe smiled widely as he heard Andrew's laugh, holding him even tighter to him. "Okay and is that fact supposed to phase me? When have I ever done something the way that most people do?" He teased, though he wasn't wrong. "Yeah, trust me. Now that I know I can throw you around this easily I'm really going to be throwing you around." He smirked, looking up at him and giving him a suggestive look. He kissed his stomach, rubbing his face against his happy trail. "And how exactly are you going to make me pay for it? And if you're that worried than hurry up and put the star on already."

A wide smile crossed his lips as he gazed fondly at the man he had absolutely fallen for. “I guess not, though for the record I’m not really complaining” Dom reached out and placed a hand on Will’s bicep to steady himself. His knees almost giving out at the sight of the man’s pout before their lips met again. The kiss ended much to quickly for Dom’s liking. “I’m sure that could be arranged. I’ll take all the kisses I can get. Amongst other things.” He added raising an eyebrow and giving Will a look, his eyes sparkling with a glimmer of mischief.

Will smirked as Dom held onto his arm to steady himself as he was pulled closer. He brushed his lips against his before pulling away to look into Dom’s blue eyes. “Amongst other things? Are you being cheeky Mr. Russell? Because if so, I think I quite like it.” He mused, brushing his lips over his again before nipping gently at his lower lip. “If you are being cheeky, might I suggest that I kiss your lips under mistletoe, but I kiss something...” His eyes moved down Dom’s body before meeting his gaze. “Else...under the holly.”

Charlie wiped his hands on his pants, standing up to look at the windows to make sure he was satisfied with them. He nodded, looking over at the male. "I did, thanks." He looked back at the window before picking up his supplies. "I do wonder if it will fully work with the vibe of the shop but It's Christmas so I figured I should probably make a bit of an effort."

Sawyer looked over at her friend, slipping her hand around his bicep. “Have I told you lately how much I love you and appreciate you?”  She nodded before leading him to the back of the room. “I know you probably have so many other things you could be doing so I really appreciate this and I know it was such last minute.” Of course the one weekend she was in charge of the events everyone had decided to cancel on her and she was left stranded. “You know, I always dreamed that you being such a famous author would benefit me some day, this isn’t exactly how I saw it going though.” She teased, leading him up to the front where the kids were waiting for him to start reading. “But you know, cute dad’s are probably a pretty good plus.”

She laughed softly before moving to grab her recipe box. "What kind do you want to make? We can make a couple different kinds since the sugar cookie dough has to chill in the fridge."
