#context: got my first comment about the asexual lifestyle today #(online) #was not expecting it at all #because literally what is lifestyle about it. i go to work. make stuff. eat and sleep. call my family on the phone. #unless we get into QPRs there's very little lifestyling happening #especially considering i still...you know. date. #plan on getting married some day. have kids. you know. the works #(person didn't want to *trivialize my lifestyle* and i appreciate the intent. but dude. it's not really a lifestyle yet) #(may never be. some part of me is kinda hoping it goes away a little because it would be nice to actually want a relationship #instead of just in a theoretical way. you know: i like *you* not just i would like romantic closeness with a person) #my aceness or whatever is just me realizing that huh. i never did really experience those powerful feelings everyone warned about #like if there is an ace-aro closet i am fully in it #except on anonymous sites like tunglr dot com #idk it's interesting. think there's maybe a generational thing going on.
