Prompts For The Heavy Hearted (Angst) || Accepting

They were in a place called Haddenfield, one of the other killers worlds, only this time, the killer had been Trickster, he already killed two of them, now, it was just Leon and Feng left, luckily, the murderous idol had no idea where they were, and he was going to use that to his advantage. There were only two generators left, the odds were a little tricky, but they’d pull through, one way, or the other.

Hearing the sound of ricochet throwing knifes bouncing around, Leon rushed to cover inside one of the buildings, quickly ducking behind a wall as the killer passed him by thankfully seeming to not notice where he was hiding. Taking a look around, he was in luck, there was another generator in this building, and it hadn’t been worked on yet. A perfect opportunity, just before he could turn his attention to the gen, Leon noticed Feng Min who was also hiding in this house, and she was looking rather down. Trickster was nowhere in sight, they were safe, for now anyway.

Leon hated people who would disregard others but themselves, Yun-Jun-Li being the one that did it the most, in a nightmare world like this, he failed to understand why anyone would willingly leave someone behind, or sell them out just so they could escape, the rookie didn’t like people who did that, and if they were going to be selfish, and only think of themselves, then Leon wanted nothing to do with them, they could just die for all he cared. No one should ever get left behind, something that Leon strongly believed in, and it wasn’t just because he was a cop -- that was just the kind of person Leon was, everyone mattered in his book, and he’d do whatever he could to ensure that all his teammates would get out safely, and if he couldn’t everyone, he would at least make sure that the others left alive would escape, even if that meant putting himself a risk.

[{ ☣ }] - “Huh? Feng, what’s wrong?” He asks, his tone a bit concerned as he quietly crouches over to her, making sure to stay out of side just in case the killer was checking every single corner.

Feng Min, was someone he often found himself being thrown into trials with a lot as of late, she was a skilled technician and always seemed to know where the killer was whenever they would kick a generator, she was very Alert, a very useful ability to have, especially when killer was gen guarding. Each killer was different, using different tactics to try and get their kills or sacrifices. For whatever reason, there was this thing that always seemed to happen whenever the trials became critical, and more times than most, what she said was right, why did people always decide to just leave her behind, most of the others actually worked as a team like the original goal should always be.

Hearing her confide her feelings to him, Leon could understand why she was feeling this way, why did they do that to her so often? Did they think she wasn’t capable of surviving just because she had no defensive or counter perks? If that was the case, than he found that incredibly stupid, she was very much capable, that much, he’d seen, especially with how fast she would run after a rushed window vault, all it took was a few seconds of distance to get the upper hand, whatever everyone else thought about her, he thought different, unlike everyone else, Leon, actually believed in her.

[{ ☣ }] - “Now that you mention it, people do seem to underestimate you a lot. Which is really stupid. All of us are unique to who we are, we have our own abilities that can be used in many different ways. Forget about the doubters. I think you’re a very capable survivor, I’ve seen you escape enough to know that.”

With the killer still actively looking for them, he knew it would be a matter of time before he found them, thankfully, he hadn’t heard anymore knives being thrown their way, maybe they would be fine, even for a little bit longer. Confirming that the coast was still clear, Leon moved back away from the window and turned his head to face her.

[{ ☣ }] - “You won’t be left behind this time Feng. Stick with me, we’ll get out of this trial together. No one gets left behind on my watch.” Giving her a reassuring smile, Leon stood up and walked over to the generator.

[{ ☣ }] - “How about we get this generator going? We’ll only have one left after this, so we’re almost there, we got this.”
