The state of things on anitwt and fandom in general regarding women characters is so pathetic that JJK doing the bare minimum gets praise. Like people praise the scene where Yuuji saves Nobara and she isn't a blubbering mess about being weak and I'm just like "...OK? Gege didn't write her in a sexist manner, I'm not giving him a cookie or props for that when it's such a low bar to pass". You can praise a lot of his talent as a writer but he's quite literally doing the bare minimum in an industry where most male writers can't be bothered.
