Who becomes the closest with splinter after they decide “hey maybe we shouldn’t kill humanity?”

I'm not sure, honestly. I guess Leo? He's already on the Lou Jitsu hypetrain, something he feels a lot of guilt about considering he views Splinter as evil. So when he figures out that Splinter isn't actually a terrrible person he'd be pretty excited to get to know him better. And while Leo isn't exactly neglected by Draxum, he still doesn't usually get quite all attention he needs from his dad (middle child lol) so he might be quicker to seek out an extra father figure.

Raph and Mikey would eventually get closer to Splinter as well, though!

#at the same time i'm pretty sure leo would grow closer to drax as well after he decides to give up on his world domination plan #there has been some tension slowly building between them for years at this point #and all of the events surrounding donnie and the dark armour and leo going against draxum and EVERYTHING really in the main story #would really force the two of them to confront the unrest in their relationship #which would be a bit messy sure #but they'd both benefit from it and end up with a better understanding of the other #draxum trying to improve his parenting skills vs splinter trying to his parenting skills #EPIC RAP BATTLES OF HISTORY!!! #Tiz Sep AU
