Rafael gazes at the other, surprised that he noticed things about the ex swordsman. "...Sorry, if I seemed distant.." He'd be thinking about lots of things, about the past, how he could do better and not ever go back towards the darkness. He wanted to try better.

       After setting his right hand atop the table surface, he extends his hand out. Fingers adorned in gold rings await the other’s so to interlock round his hand in a sturdy hold. Atem’s appreciative that he’s shown interest and it certainly sparks a little glint of excitement in the Pharaoh’s normally reserved expression.

It wasn’t as if Noa disliked games, But his passion and drive for them were lacking compared to Seto. He didn’t like admitting he was struggling with running the company he was born and raised to take over. Though his issues were more of its new ideals and what pushed it forward. 

Things had to keep moving forward. And at least his father had taught him a good lesson, multiple times. 

If you don’t have a answer use other people to get it. 

And that was just what he was going to do with the person in front of him. Ryuji Otogi, an aspiring game designer, well more than that from his file. Seto had notes on him and that he was a person of interest when it came to games but it seems nothing came of it.

“As I said in my letter to you, Kaiba Corporation would like to sponsor you. Whatever money and resources you need will be provided.” Of course while Otogi’s name would be on the designs Kaiba Corporation would be listed as well, on top of getting a profit cut. 

If he couldn’t make games himself he’d just pay other people to do it for him in the guise of charity.

    They fight together rather well, truthfully. Hawke’s figured out her party relatively well. Though Varric tends to stay further from the fight, he moves through the field to get proper aim. He’s loud, though-- Hawke can always hear him, always see him, if she just gives a quick enough look. Fenris is like a storm; he covers the battlefield, his blade in hand, flashes of lyrium and magic coming off of him every few moments. Hawke doesn’t see him so much as feel him-- In battle, Fenris is presented as a prickle against the back of her neck, a flush of magic against her spine to remind her of the power. It’s Isabela that Hawke always has the problem with.

    Isabela has a bad habit of disappearing during a fight. Not for running away, oh no. Hawke sees it often. A flash of smoke, a cackle, and the Rivaini woman is outright gone. It makes the Champion more than a little bit nervous when it comes to flinging fireballs into the fray. The fight’s properly over by the time Hawke can even really realize Isabela’s vanished, Varric and Fenris slinking nearer to her to allow her to heal them. The apostate scans the field of corpses for a moment, expecting to find her rooting through somebody’s pockets, but the absence of the Rivaini woman has her furrowing her brows in concern.

    “Isabela?” She calls, and Varric and Fenris exchange a glance before they look back to the Champion, watching as Hawke moves forward through the field with a frown. It wasn’t exactly like Isabela to just run off when there was a fight still going on, in particular--

    Hawke turns around, her mouth open to say something to the dwarf and the elf at her side, when Isabela promptly appears and plants a sloppy kiss on her mouth thanks to Hawke walking right into her. The pirate’s hands are on her shoulders when Hawke jerks back in surprise, going slightly-wide eyed and feeling her face flushing in shock. Isabela’s only answer is a sly smirk. “Tongue.” She muses. “Impressive, birdie.”

    The apostate’s only answer is to flush a deep shade of startled red.

There’s so much that I hate that I love about the priestess, sos

I absolutely love the fact that when she was younger and for the most of her young adult years she was probably the most cynical person when it came to the Evanuris and their followers that there was. Just the thought of having to follow one of them made her stomach buy a ticket to nope vile. When she was 8 she ran from home because her parents wanted her to serve Elgar’nan, she spent most of her adolescence and young adulthood selling secrets and people from one temple to the other and just watching the whole circus burn from the outside while laughing. I love the fact that she has shown me how much desperation can make a person change or perhaps change is not the right word and just sacrifice things that they never expected they could sacrifice.
